The new GETAC V100X is a highly robust Convertible PC for industrial and military applications that sets new standards in terms of computing power. An Intel Core i7-620UM processor and a up to 8GB large DDR3 RAM bring the V100X to peak performance.

Already in the standard configuration the ruggedized convertible PC V100X comes with a pressure sensitive Multi-Touchscreen-Display, which can be controlled even with gloves. This display has a multi-finger detection and understand gestures like turning an image or zoom-in and zoom-out. Optionally the ruggedized convertible V100X can be ordered with multi-touch and digitizer function simultaneously.

The certifications make him one of the best ruggedized Convertible PCs in its class. The V100X is certified in accordance to the military standards MIL-STD810G and MIL-STD461F without an additional fee. The housing has the ingress protection standard IP65 and is thus resistant against solid particle and jetwater. In addition rugged convertible has a 5 year warranty which is unusual in the industry.

The home of the ruggedized Convertible V100X is outdoor. For this you need a good communication and battery life time. Bluetooth and WLAN according to the a/b/g/n standard is already equipped in standard configuration. As option you can integrated a GPS- and a mobile broadband module (HSDPA / UMTS / EDGE / GPRS / GSM) including internal antennas. The integrated 7800 mAh Lithium-Ion-Battery can optionally be changed in the ongoing operation.
